The southern Gaza city of Khan Younis has once again become the epicenter of tragedy after a series of intense overnight airstrikes claimed the lives of at least 54-60 Palestinians, according to medical sources at Nasser Hospital. The relentless bombardment has left families shattered, homes destroyed, and communities grappling with profound loss.

Among the victims was journalist Hasan Samour, who was tragically killed alongside 11 family members when their home was struck. The scale of devastation is heartbreaking, with many victims arriving at morgues in pieces, underscoring the brutal nature of the attacks.

This assault follows a night of heavy bombings across northern and southern Gaza, which claimed the lives of at least 70 people, including nearly two dozen children. The attacks coincided with international diplomatic efforts, including U.S. President Donald Trump's Middle East tour, raising urgent questions about the prospects for peace and humanitarian relief.

As Gaza endures ongoing blockade and conflict, the humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate, with thousands displaced and essential services under severe strain. The world watches as civilians bear the heaviest toll in this escalating crisis.
